The short answer is no. In Infraspeak Network™, you cannot share a Planned Job Order (PJO) on its own.

Sharing is always initiated and controlled at the master Planned Job (PJ) blueprint level. Once the main preventive plan is shared with your supplier, all corresponding occurrences—past, present, and future PJOs—are automatically shared and synchronized between both accounts.


Why sharing works at the Planned Job level

To understand why PJOs cannot be shared separately, it helps to distinguish between the two core concepts of preventive maintenance in Infraspeak:

  • The Planned Job (PJ) Blueprint: The master maintenance template that establishes recurring rules, frequencies, intervals, assigned assets or locations, and task checklists.
  • The Planned Job Order (PJO) Occurrence: Each specific, scheduled execution automatically generated by that master blueprint (e.g., your January Monthly Chiller Service or Q1 Fire Alarm Inspection).

Because preventive workflows depend on a consistent schedule and contractual scope, Infraspeak Network™ synchronizes the entire recurring schedule rather than fragmented, one-off visits.


What happens when you share a master Planned Job?

When you share a Planned Job on the Network:

  • Automatic PJO Synchronization: Every occurrence (PJO) generated under that maintenance plan automatically appears on both the sender's and receiver's platforms.
  • Real-Time Execution Updates: As tasks, checklists, measurements, and photos are logged on-site, both parties have real-time visibility.
  • Shared Closure Lifecycle:
    • The Supplier completes the tasks and changes the PJO status to Closed.
    • The Client reviews the completed work and clicks Confirm to validate that maintenance cycle.
