It is not possible to add new tasks to ongoing PJOs. Once a Planned Job Order (PJO) has been generated and is in progress, you can't add new or one-off tasks to it — not from the web platform, nor from the mobile app. This is expected behavior: the task and asset list is locked in by the original Planned Job configuration, ensuring the preventive plan is followed exactly as designed.
Here's how to handle extra work instead:
- Create a separate corrective Work Order — if you spot an unplanned task while executing a PJO, report it as a standard Work Order for that asset or location. This keeps your preventive maintenance history clean and separates unplanned work correctly.
- Update the base Planned Job — if the missing task should be part of every future round (not just a one-off), edit the original Planned Job's "Interventions" tab on the web. This won't affect the order already in progress, but it will apply to all future PJOs generated from that point on.
- Use measurement-triggered Work Orders — for tasks with measurements (e.g. multiple-choice or value-range), enable "create order." If a technician logs an out-of-range value during a PJO, the system will automatically generate a corrective Work Order to handle it separately.
