Infraspeak Network™ is designed to bring clients and service providers into a single, unified workspace to coordinate both reactive tasks and long-term preventive plans.

When you share a Planned Job (PJ)—the overall preventive blueprint—with a partner, you might wonder how to handle edits, cancellations, or daily closures. This article explains the difference between closing an individual occurrence (Planned Job Order / PJO) and managing or deactivating the main blueprint (Planned Job / PJ).

TABLE OF CONTENTS

1. Closing an Individual Shared Planned Job Order (PJO)

A Planned Job Order (PJO) is an individual, scheduled occurrence of a Planned Job (for example, your monthly HVAC inspection). When a PJO is shared on the Network, both parties gain real-time visibility over the work being performed.

Step-by-Step Execution:

  • Supplier Execution: The technician completes the tasks, adds signatures, or uploads measurements directly from their Infraspeak Next™ mobile app. Once completed, the technician or supplier manager changes the status of the PJO to Closed.
  • Client Validation: The client is instantly notified of the status change and reviews the completed work. To officially resolve that month's maintenance cycle, the client clicks Confirm.
  • Next Occurrence: The system automatically prepares the next occurrence for the following cycle according to the original rules of the Planned Job.

Pro-Tip: Enable "Auto-Close"

If you want to save administrative time, you can enable the Auto-close toggle during the setup of the Planned Job. When active, the PJO will automatically close the moment the technician completes all the associated tasks on-site, meaning nobody has to remember to close it manually.

2. Editing, Deactivating, or Deleting the Main Planned Job (PJ Blueprint)

When a Planned Job is actively shared on Infraspeak Network, its main structure (such as the specific scheduling rules or asset interventions) is locked to ensure both entities remain perfectly synchronized.

If you need to make structural edits or delete the entire Planned Job, you must temporarily stop the share.

How to Stop Sharing a Planned Job:

  1. Open the Planned Jobs app and double-click to expand the shared plan.
  2. Click the bright green Share button in the top-right corner of the plan.
  3. Click the ellipsis (...) symbol next to the partner's share details.
  4. Select the option to Stop Sharing.

Once unshared, the synchronization is paused, and you can edit all locked fields, make structural adjustments, or safely delete the main plan. You can easily re-share the updated blueprint with your partner at any time!
