This article will guide you through the steps you'll need to use the Analytics and Dashboards on Infraspeak Direct.

Access to this functionality depends on your account plan. So if you're not able to follow the steps below, please get in touch with your Customer Success Manager.

1. Before you start

Before starting to use the Analytics on Infraspeak Direct, you'll need to ensure that the Direct Portal, Analytics and the Dashboards are connected on Infraspeak. Be sure they are installed in the Infraspeak Hub:

NOTE: The sharing of dashboards with contacts will only be available to administrator account types, to prevent the risk of an unintended share;

2. Which contacts can access a shared dashboard?

a. When all the pre-conditions above are fulfilled, we'll start by navigating to the Direct Portal settings:

b. Here you'll find an option to define the default access to dashboards, and turn it on and off as you prefer. As you already now, this is the configuration all the contacts with default options will follow:

c. Editing each contact, you'll also be able to decide their access to the shared dashboards. You can use this article for more about contacts.

3. Sharing a dashboard

a. Accessing your existing dashboards or creating a new one, you'll now find a "Share" button on the top right corner (in green):

b. A validation will be made, to make sure you can only share widgets that have their data filtered according to your contact's access, which assures your data's privacy. At this moment, only widgets from the following Analytics will be available to be shared:

  • Work Orders
  • Work Order SLAs
  • Planned Jobs
  • Planned Job SLAs

c. Before proceeding, you'll need to remove every widget not supported, which is highlighted to you:

d. After this process is done, we're able to share the dashboard. You'll be asked to select the clients with whom you want to share the dashboards, and which contacts should have access to the dashboard:

  • In the "All contacts" option, we'll show the dashboard with all the contacts associated with the client, taking into account their viewing capabilities defined in step 2;
  • In the "Specific contacts" option, you'll select contacts one by one, and this will override the contacts' viewing capabilities, to make sure they can see the dashboards.

4. Viewing dashboards on Direct Portal

a. When the contact accesses the Direct Portal, they will have a section with the shared dashboard, mirroring the widgets defined previously, but adjusted to the data they can access. This means you can share the same dashboards with multiple clients, and each one will only see their respective data:

  • Users will also be able to filter the data for certain buildings, and adjust the time period as needed. It is even possible to share multiple dashboards with a contact, to group information about different topics or that should be accessed by different contacts inside the same client.

b. Contacts will also be able to enter a full screen mode, so they can do a deeper analysis, or keep the dashboard always visible (in a TV, for example):

5. How to stop sharing a Dashboard

If something changes and you needed to stop sharing a dashboard with a client, just access the "Share" button of a dashboard, and select the "Stop sharing" option:
