1. Before starting
To be able to configure and test this capability, you need the following elements:
- An admin account which can perform the configuration of Maintenance, create Planned Jobs or Work Orders;
- A configuration of soft maintenance or equipment types with a structure of intervention, task, and measurement. Connection of these to the location and equipment in buildings.
- A planned job or work order in which it is possible to execute the measurement we want to test requires a mandatory attachment.
- A mobile device with the Infraspeak Next app, updated to the latest version;
- A technician account with access to the execution of the work orders or planned job orders we previously set

Important to note: Only technicians are restricted from adding attachments. Managers and admins can execute measurements without requesting attachments. This capability is only supported on the Infraspeak Next app. If you need to restrict access to the Infraspeak Technician app to ensure this requirement is fulfilled, please contact our team.
2. Selecting which types of files are available to attach
- Additionally, you can select which type of attachments the user can add to a measurement. To do this, go to the Settings and select "My entity details". Scrolling to the bottom, you'll find the option "Require documentation on measurements";
- By default, the option selected is "Documents", which lets users select any file from their device. Selecting the other options will restrict the type of attachments and sources users can choose from (both in the Infraspeak Next app and the Direct Portal).
After confirming this selection, our configuration is done, and we're ready to test!
