Sharing assets with suppliers can get complicated — especially when each supplier relationship differs. The Asset Sharing Rule feature helps you mirror those real-life setups by creating rules that automatically share the right assets with the right suppliers. It saves time, reduces errors, and ensures everyone can access what they need to do their job.

1. How to create an asset sharing rule

  1. Go to the Network app on your menu
  2. Choose the connected supplier you want to share assets with
  3. Scroll to the "Shared items" section
  4. "Click to add" on Asset Sharing rules
  5. Define what best describes your relationship with your supplier
  6. Existing and new assets matching the rule will be automatically shared with the supplier

We know supplier relationships aren’t one-size-fits-all — that’s why you can set multiple rules to reflect the way you actually work


2. How to edit an asset sharing rule

  1. Go to the Network app on your menu
  2. Choose the connected supplier you want to update the asset sharing rule
  3. Scroll to the "Shared items" section
  4. Click on the rule you wish to edit
  5. Edit it accordingly
  6. After saving the existing and new assets matching the rule, they will be shared with the supplier


Note: assets already shared with the supplier will not be deleted on the supplier entity for history purposes

3. How to delete an asset sharing rule

  1. Go to the Network app on your menu
  2. Choose the connected supplier you want to update the asset sharing rule
  3. Scroll to the "Shared items" section
  4. Click on the trash can of the rule you want to delete
  5. No new assets will be shared with the supplier


Note: assets already shared with the supplier will not be deleted on the supplier entity for history purposes
